Cheeyell Soundscape is looking for lyricists, poets, composers and authors. Send us your songs and your books. Work we select is produced, released and promoted under the Cheeyell Soundscape name, with your credit on every platform.

Our team reviews every complete submission. We aim to reply within 30 days for music and 60 days for books.
If we want to go ahead, you receive a written offer. Take your time, ask questions and get advice before you sign.

Rules for music
- Original work only. You wrote it, or you have written permission from every co-writer. No uncleared samples, loops or interpolations.
- Human-written lyrics. Lyrics must be written by a person. AI may help with production, but you must tell us exactly which tools were used and for what.
- No imitation. No cloned or imitated voices of real singers, and no songs written to pass as another artist's work.
- Respect. No hate, harassment, sexual content involving minors, or content that mocks any faith. Devotional songs must be respectful.
- Rights status. Tell us if the song is already released, registered with a society, or signed to anyone else.
- Age. You must be 18 or older, or submit with a parent or guardian's written consent.
- Up to three songs per submission. Send your best, not everything.
Submit a book
We publish a small list of books with heart: true stories, useful knowledge and stories worth reading aloud.
We publish
Memoir and life stories, health and wellness by qualified professionals, spirituality and devotion, Indian fiction, poetry, and children's books.
Languages
English and Hindi. Bilingual books are welcome.
We don't publish
Textbooks, exam guides, political tracts, fan fiction or anything that promotes hate.
What to send
- Cover letter (1 page). Title, genre, word count, who the book is for, and why you are the person to write it.
- Synopsis (1–2 pages). The whole story or argument, including the ending.
- Sample. Fiction and memoir: the first three chapters (up to 30 pages). Non-fiction: a chapter outline and one sample chapter. Poetry: 10–15 poems. Children's picture books: the complete text.
- Author bio (150 words) and any previous publications.
- Rights statement. Confirm the work is unpublished or that the rights have returned to you.

Rules for books
- Your own writing. Quotations, lyrics and photographs from others need permission. AI help with editing or research must be disclosed; the writing itself must be yours.
- Real people. In memoir and true stories, change names or get consent where privacy could be hurt. No defamation.
- Health books must be written or reviewed by a qualified professional and must not replace medical advice.
- Simultaneous submissions to other publishers are fine. Tell us at once if the book is accepted elsewhere.
- Not ready to submit? Write your book privately with Write My Book, then send it to us when it's finished.

Like film studios and streaming services, we need clear terms so that every writer is treated fairly.
You keep your rights
Sending us your work gives us permission only to read, listen to and evaluate it. You keep your copyright. We publish nothing without a signed agreement.
Similar ideas
We receive many submissions and create our own songs and stories. Some may be similar to yours by coincidence. Submitting does not create any obligation, partnership or confidentiality beyond our promise to use your material only for evaluation.
No obligation, no fees
We are not obliged to accept, reply in detail or explain a decision. We never ask for money from writers to submit, be reviewed or be released. If anyone asks you to pay in our name, it isn't us.
Your files and data
We keep your submission only while we evaluate it and while any agreement is in force. Ask us to delete it at any time. We don't share submissions outside our review team.
Response times
We aim to reply within 30 days for music and 60 days for books. If you haven't heard from us by then, you're welcome to send one reminder.
